Sedssoung

I have a Ph.D. in American Politics (University of Arizona). My research interests include public opinion, political behaviors, political communication, gender and race politics, immigration and politics, and social movement. My research has been published in State Politics & Policy Quarterly, Legislation and Policy Studies, and Asia Pacific Journal of Educational Research

My dissertation, The Effects of Frames on Emotions, Information Processing, and Social Movement Participation, argues that types of frames are strong predictors of emotions, such as anger, enthusiasm, and anxiety, and movement participation. I use experiments to test hypotheses.
